    Can you get hips dysplasia after hip arthroscopic surgery?

    • @michelledelecki6224
      @michelledelecki6224 8 місяців тому

      no. you don't catch dysplasia. you either have it or you don't. many ortho surgeons will do keyhole surgery to fix the labrum but it's a temporary fix and generally will tear again. happened to me. I've since had PAO surgery to reshape the joint and it has worked well for me. it's a difficult surgery but was worth it to get my life back.

I've just obtained my medical records and scan results which identified hip dysplasia..... meanwhile steroid injections were being recommended for bursitis that wasn't seen on imaging but diagnosed because it hurt when palpated.

      Hey man, don’t hurt yourself. I got diagnosed Im 18 and it’s been a struggle to walk. The doctors lead me down the wrong path and gave me two surgeries for an unrelated issue which permanently worsened my condition. I’m in pain as I write this! We must persevere. Hopefully my hip replacement won’t be too soon, the results aren’t certain due to my prior surgeries

    So I danced for about 15 years of my life, am overly flexible in the hips, and recently before my symptoms began (mainly groin pain) I had increased my running load from running 5ks to training for a half marathon. I ended up having surgery to repair athletic pubalgia but the symptoms didn't go away. I was referred to a new doctor today who says the x-rays show that I have dip dysplasia. He's also sending me for an MRI with contrast and a cat scan. Hoping for the best. Thanks for the informational video!

      GRACE Jones , try doing few reps of hamstring stretches first( before bridge exercise),which will inhibit them then do bilateral bridge with heels little closure to hips and push through heels with feets flat on the ground simultaneously squeezing your glutes trying to rotate your hip externally...I hope this will help u eliminate excessive hamstring involvement and cramping..:)
